Overview

Connect Peanuts to Telegram to log entries, ask questions, and manage Helpers directly from your chat app.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Telegram
  2. Tap Connect Telegram
  3. Open the link to start a chat with your Peanuts bot
  4. Send /start to activate

Usage

Log Entries

Send messages like normal text:
  • “Spent $30 at Target”
  • “Ran 5km this morning”
  • “Slept 8 hours”
The bot routes to the right Helper automatically.

Smart Clarification

When Peanuts isn’t 100% sure where to save your message, it asks with inline buttons: Medium confidence (might go to wrong helper): 
🤔 I think this goes to Sleep Tracker 😴

Affinity Learning

When you confirm a helper choice or tap “Yes, save here”, Peanuts learns your preference. Next time you send a similar message, it routes automatically without asking.

Domain-Aware Confirmations

Peanuts uses friendly, contextual confirmations based on what you’re tracking:
  • Wellness/Sleep: “Nice! 😴 Sleep Tracker”
  • Fitness/Exercise: “Great work! 💪 Workout Log”
  • Finance/Expenses: “Got it! 💰 Expenses”
  • Food/Meals: “Logged! 🍽️ Food Diary”
  • Habits: “Streak growing! 🔥 Habit Tracker”

Eco Logs (Zero Credits)

When Peanuts routes your message using learned patterns (affinity) or local matching, you’ll see a 🌱 prefix - these are free and don’t use any credits!

Move to Different Helper

Every saved entry includes a 📂 Move button. Tap it to reroute the entry to a different helper if it went to the wrong place.

Voice & Photos

Send voice messages or photos - they’re processed just like in the app. Voice messages:
  • Transcribed and routed to the right helper
  • Costs 8 credits for transcription
Photos:
  • Analyzed for receipts, documents, or content
  • Costs 5 credits for analysis

Sharing to Groups

Share Helpers with Telegram groups for collaborative tracking. See Sharing.

Tips

  1. Confirm to learn - When asked to confirm a helper, doing so teaches Peanuts your preferences
  2. Look for 🌱 - This means your log was free (affinity/local match)
  3. Use Move button - Made a mistake? Tap 📂 Move to reroute
  4. Voice for speed - Great for detailed entries when typing is inconvenient
  5. Be consistent - Similar phrasing helps affinity learning work better
