Perfect For

  • Morning/evening routines
  • Daily safety inspections
  • Opening/closing procedures
  • Cleaning checklists
  • Pre-flight checks
  • Shift handover tasks

Key Features

  • Daily auto-reset
  • Progress tracking
  • One-tap completion
  • Visual progress bar
  • Manual reset option
  • Voice completion

Quick Start

1

Describe your checklist

Tell Peanuts what you need:
  • “Morning routine checklist”
  • “Daily store opening tasks”
  • “Pre-shift safety inspection”
2

Review suggested items

Peanuts pre-populates common items based on your description. Add, remove, or reorder as needed.
3

Start checking off

Tap items to mark complete. Progress bar fills as you go. Tomorrow, everything resets automatically.

Interface Overview

Shows today’s completion status:
  • X of Y completed — Items done vs total
  • Progress bar — Visual percentage complete
  • Date indicator — Confirms you’re viewing today
Your checklist items displayed as tappable cards:
  • Unchecked items — Outlined checkbox, ready to tap
  • Checked items — Filled checkbox with strikethrough text
  • Themed colors — Matches your helper’s domain theme
Manual reset option at the bottom:
  • Clears all today’s completions
  • Useful if you need to start over
  • Confirmation toast after reset

How It Works

Daily Reset Behavior

Checklists track completions per day. Each morning, all items appear unchecked again—no manual reset needed.
TimeBehavior
TodayShows current completion state
MidnightAll items reset to unchecked
TomorrowFresh checklist, start again

Completion Tracking

When you tap an item:
  1. Item is marked complete (checkbox fills)
  2. Entry is saved with timestamp
  3. Progress bar updates immediately
  4. Item shows strikethrough styling
When you untap a completed item:
  1. Entry is deleted
  2. Item returns to unchecked state
  3. Progress recalculates

Tips & Best Practices

Aim for 5-10 items per checklist. Too many items leads to fatigue and skipped completions. Create separate checklists for different contexts (morning vs. evening).
Arrange items in the order you actually do them. This creates a natural flow and reduces cognitive load.
“Take vitamin D” is better than “Vitamins”—specific items are easier to verify as complete.
Instead of one massive list, create:
  • “Weekday Morning” vs “Weekend Morning”
  • “Opening Shift” vs “Closing Shift”
  • “Home Office” vs “In-Office”

Example: Morning Routine

A personal morning checklist: Setup:
  • Name: “Morning Routine”
  • Icon: ☀️ Sun
  • Theme: Warm orange
Items:
  1. Make bed
  2. Drink water
  3. 10-minute stretch
  4. Shower
  5. Review today’s calendar
  6. Pack bag
Daily use:
  1. Wake up, open Peanuts
  2. Tap items as you complete them
  3. See progress bar fill to 100%
  4. Tomorrow: everything resets
