Open Safari
Navigate to peanutsapp.com in Safari (not Chrome or another browser).

Tap the Share button
Find the Share icon at the bottom of Safari (square with an arrow pointing up).

Select 'Add to Home Screen'
Scroll down in the share menu and tap “Add to Home Screen”.

Tap 'Add'
Confirm by tapping Add in the top right corner. Peanuts will appear on your home screen!

On iOS: Make sure you’re using Safari—other browsers don’t support PWA installation on iOS.On Android: Try clearing your browser cache, or check if you’ve already installed the app (look in your app drawer).On Desktop: The install icon only appears in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave). Firefox doesn’t support PWA installation.

This can happen if there’s a caching issue. Try these steps:
- Delete the app from your device
- Clear your browser cache for peanutsapp.com
- Reinstall following the steps above

- Enabled notifications in Peanuts settings
- Allowed notification permissions when prompted
- Not enabled “Do Not Disturb” on your device

Absolutely! Installation is optional. You can always use Peanuts at peanutsapp.com in any modern browser. However, you’ll miss out on:
- Home screen icon for quick access
- Offline functionality
- Push notifications
- Full-screen experience (no browser chrome)
