Peanuts is your personal tracking assistant—a tool that helps you log, organize, and understand the things that matter to you. Whether it’s expenses, workouts, habits, or any routine, Peanuts creates simple “helpers” that capture your data through text, voice, or photos.Think of it as a smart notebook that:
  • Understands what you’re logging naturally
  • Works across web, mobile, and Telegram
  • Gives you insights from your patterns over time
No app store download required! Peanuts is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that installs directly from your browser. Visit peanutsapp.com, sign up, and tap “Add to Home Screen” for the full app experience.See our Installation Guide for step-by-step instructions.

Account & Billing

Currently, email addresses cannot be changed directly. To use a different email:
  1. Create a new account with your preferred email
  2. Export data from your current account (if needed)
  3. Recreate your helpers on the new account
We’re working on a proper email change feature.
  1. Go to SettingsBilling
  2. Click Manage Subscription
  3. Select Cancel Subscription
Your access continues until the end of your billing period. You can resubscribe anytime.
Your data is never deleted when downgrading. However:
  • If you exceed the helper limit, you won’t be able to create new helpers
  • Existing helpers remain accessible
  • Premium features (webhooks, advanced voice) become unavailable
Upgrade anytime to regain full access.
  1. Go to SettingsAccount
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Account
  4. Confirm by typing your email
This permanently deletes all your data, helpers, and entries. This action cannot be undone.
We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if you haven’t used significant credits. Contact [email protected] with your request.

Credits & Usage

Credits are used for AI-powered features like:
  • Voice transcription (10 credits)
  • Text-to-speech (15 credits)
  • AI parsing and insights (1 credit)
  • Image analysis/Smart Scan (5 credits)
Credits reset monthly based on your billing cycle.
Options when credits are exhausted:
  1. Wait for reset — Credits refresh monthly
  2. Buy a top-up — One-time credit packs at Settings → Credits
  3. Upgrade your plan — Higher tiers include more credits
Basic features (manual entry, viewing data) work without credits.
Credits reset to your plan’s allowance each billing cycle—they don’t roll over. Check your reset date at SettingsCredits.If credits dropped unexpectedly mid-cycle, check your Usage History for recent AI operations.
Tips to conserve credits:
  • Use text entry instead of voice when convenient
  • Disable “Read Aloud” in Ask Peanuts
  • Use Quick Voice instead of Hands-Free Mode
  • Batch similar entries instead of logging one at a time

Helpers & Data

  1. Open your helper
  2. Tap the gear iconEdit Helper
  3. Choose Quick Edit (simple changes) or Advanced (full control)
  4. Add, remove, or modify fields
  5. Save changes
Existing entries aren’t affected—new fields appear empty on old entries.
Helper types (Form, Tracker, List, etc.) are set at creation and can’t be changed directly. However, you can:
  1. Create a new helper with the desired type
  2. Describe your needs—Peanuts may suggest migrating
  3. Manually recreate if the structure is very different
  1. Open the helper
  2. Tap gear iconDelete Helper
  3. Confirm deletion
Deleting a helper permanently removes all its entries. Export your data first if you need it.
Yes! From any helper:
  1. Tap the menu (three dots)
  2. Select Export
  3. Choose format (CSV or JSON)
For full account export, go to SettingsAccountExport All Data.
Absolutely. Your data is:
  • Encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Never shared with third parties
  • Never used to train AI models
  • Accessible only by you (and your Telegram bot if connected)

Voice Features

Check these first:
  1. Microphone permission — Browser/device must have mic access
  2. Credits available — Voice features require credits
  3. Plan level — Voice requires Starter or higher
  4. Internet connection — Voice processing needs connectivity
Still not working?
  • Try a different browser (Chrome works best)
  • Refresh the page
  • Test your mic in another app
For better results:
  • Speak clearly at a normal pace
  • Reduce background noise
  • Hold your phone closer
  • Include context: “Forty-five dollars at the grocery store” vs “45”
  • Use complete sentences
Troubleshooting steps:
  1. Check device volume and silent/vibrate mode
  2. Try with headphones
  3. Verify Bluetooth is connected (if using wireless audio)
  4. Ensure “Read Aloud” is enabled in settings
  5. Refresh and try again

Telegram Integration

  1. Create a bot via @BotFather
  2. Copy your bot token
  3. Add it in Peanuts Settings → Telegram
  4. Start a chat with your bot and send /start
Common fixes:
  1. Verify the bot token is correct (no extra spaces)
  2. Make sure you started a chat with /start
  3. Check if the chat is authorized in Peanuts settings
  4. Ensure your Peanuts account is active
Still stuck?
  • Regenerate the bot token via @BotFather
  • Remove and re-add the integration
Photo analysis requires:
  • Active subscription (Starter+)
  • Available credits (5 per image)
  • Supported image format (JPG, PNG, WebP)
  • Image under 20MB
If analysis fails, try a clearer photo with better lighting.
  1. Go to SettingsTelegram
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Optionally, delete the bot via @BotFather
Your Peanuts data remains intact after disconnecting.

Webhooks & Integrations

Checklist:
  1. ✅ Webhook is enabled in helper settings
  2. ✅ URL is correct and publicly accessible
  3. ✅ Endpoint returns 2xx status code
  4. ✅ You’re on Pro plan or higher
Check Webhook History for specific error messages.
Common issues:
  • Using parsed JSON instead of raw request body
  • Secret has extra whitespace
  • Using SHA1 instead of SHA256
  • Not using timing-safe comparison

If your tool accepts webhooks, yes! Peanuts sends standard JSON payloads that work with:
  • Zapier, Make, n8n
  • Google Sheets (via Apps Script)

App & Performance

Try these fixes:
  1. Clear cache — Settings → Clear App Cache
  2. Update the app — Reinstall from browser
  3. Check connection — Slow internet affects sync
  4. Reduce data — Archive old entries if you have thousands
  5. Use a modern browser — Chrome/Safari work best
Sync issues are usually connectivity-related:
  1. Check internet connection
  2. Pull down to refresh
  3. Force close and reopen the app
  4. Check if Peanuts status page shows issues
Offline entries sync automatically when connection returns.
On iOS:
  • Must be installed as PWA (Add to Home Screen)
  • Notifications must be enabled in iOS Settings
  • iOS 16.4+ required
On Android:
  • Enable notifications in browser settings
  • Check “Do Not Disturb” mode
  • Ensure battery optimization isn’t blocking
In Peanuts:
  • Settings → Notifications → Enable push
  • Check Quiet Hours settings
This usually indicates a loading error:
  1. Hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
  2. Clear browser cache completely
  3. Try incognito/private mode
  4. Try a different browser
  5. Check if ad blockers are interfering
